That moment you look into your carry-on bag and realise it’s stuffed to the brim with bags (and bags) mini Toblerone. 😋
After I finish my last breakfast in Paris, I need to finish packing before heading to the airport.
Its been a fun week and, although I’m looking forward to going home, I know I’m going to miss Paris immensely.
So until next time,
Au revoir and bonne journée!
This is the stuff my dreams are made of. I mean, come on.
I left my hotel early this morning to cross the city to visit the Tutankhamun exhibition at the Grande Halle de la Villette (a former slaughterhouse turned cultural centre).
On display is an impressive collection of artifacts discovered in the famous Pharaoh’s tomb. Here’s one of the showstopper pieces on display.
The exhibition is only on for another 10 days, so I feel very lucky to have seen it.
Today’s post is brought to you from the gorgeous chateau, Vaux-le-Vicomte. An easy trip from Paris, I highly recommend a visit if you get the chance. I spent a good chunk of my day exploring before hopping back on the train and heading for the picturesque medieval town of Provins.
I’m back in Paris!
To start my first full day, I took part in a class where we made croissants and other viennoiseries.
I’m writing this post in the van as we make our way north towards the Canadian border.
This past week in Oregon has been a lot of fun and we’re both sad to see it come to an end.
Today has been a pretty busy day, by relaxing holiday standards. After breakfast we headed south a couple of hours, before heading back up towards Yachats (I’ll share posts about our activities soon). Several stops were made, including this one at Face Rock State Scenic Viewpoint.
I can’t get enough of this coastline.
We made it to Portland’s most popular donut shop, and after standing in line in the baking sun there was no way I was walking away with only one. Waistline be damned!
Today’s photo was taken outside the Petit Palais minutes ago. I’m early, as usual, and am currently waiting in line shortly before opening.
I’m excited to get through the doors to see the collection!
