In this installation of my biweekly Alphabet series, I’m sharing with you some photos taken at Bayeux Cathedral – or Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Bayeux.
Bayeux isn’t chock full of must-see sights, in my lowly opinion. Sure, it’s lovely. Don’t get me wrong. It’s just that there isn’t a heck of a lot to see and do there.
What brought James and me to the area were the nearby D-Day Beaches, and a booked day tour of significant Canadian Forces sites. But since we were going to be in the area for a few days, I did some research on what we could do to fill our time.
I love stumbling across interesting street art and graffiti. Not the angsty-teen type tagging that seems to cover most surfaces in every city I’ve been to .. but the type with artistic talent and obvious thought put into it.
