This striking purple door marks the main entrance to Saint-Gervais-Saint-Protais church in Paris’ Marais district.
Check back on Saturday, as we’ll be heading through the doors to see the incredible interior. Tomorrow I’ll be back with the latest installation in my Alphabet series.
Bonne journée!

Thursday Doors is a weekly feature allowing door lovers to come together to admire and share their favorite door photos from around the world. Feel free to join in on the fun by creating your own Thursday Doors post each week and then sharing your link in the comments section over at Norm’s blog, anytime between Thursday morning and Saturday noon (North American eastern time).
Yeah, we for sure need selfies in front of this door.

I try. I’m pretty easy going in life though (in spite of all my rants). I just love travel and seeing things and culture and pretty places to take selfies, so I think it would be so fun!

I’m a fan of themes so a door holiday would be amazing!

Doors are so boring in North America, too. So there’s that.

It really does. It’s so easy to get caught up taking photos every 3 steps while oohing and aahing in the process.

No probs, I often have similar issues. You’ve reminded me to check out my Spam Folder – thanks.

It’s a lovely door. I remember this. It’s quite striking when you walk down the road and see it.

It is, isn’t it? I was taken by the entire building.

Wow. Purple is a rather rare colour for doors these days and especially so on a church. This is an excellent find. Bravo 🙂
