Shall we step outside for some air?
Off of the Grand Foyer is The Loggia, the outdoor space enclosed by columns and topped by 5 mosaic medallions picturing masks.
These mosaics were created by lawyer-turned-artist, Antonio Salviati, who was known for his Venetian artistic glass and decorative mosaics.
One last look before we head back inside.
I will wrap up my Palais Garnier content with one last post tomorrow. See you then.
Bonne journée!
