Voyage sur la Route

As many of you know, my boyfriend and I spent 2 fun-filled weeks in France last year. We visited Paris, Normandy and Périgord Noir – more commonly referred to as the Dordogne region.

Once outside of Paris, James and I rented a car and were able to see areas not easily accessible to us by public transit in the short amount of time we had.

I thought it would be fun to share some photos that I took from the passenger seat. In no particular order..

Who can resist a gorgeous tree lined country road?

The famous, and huge, Pont de Normandie linking Le Havre and Honfleur.

I wonder where this track leads?

Fun with reflections.

A reminder of a recent town fête.

One of many tolls we encountered.

The sun setting on another gorgeous day.

I found the placement of this zebra crossing funny.

Getting stuck behind slow moving traffic is an excuse to sit back and enjoy the ride.

And naturally, I felt the need to take a selfie.

I hope you enjoyed these photos. I’ll be back tomorrow with more.

Bonne journée!

Marla
