Just a quick photo from Victory Square where crowds gathered for the 95th Annual Remembrance Day ceremony here in Vancouver.
On the roof just above and to the left of the W is 1 of the 2 trumpeters waiting to play The Last Post, which never fails to send tears streaming down my face.
Dozens of wreaths were laid at the base of the cenotaph to honour those who have taken part in Canada’s military. I spied a wreath in the crowd at a man’s feet and wonder if it made its way to be displayed with the official wreaths.
Today also marks 101 years since the end of WWI.
Lest we forget.
