I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned this here yet, but I’m gearing up for holidays. James and I are headed for a relaxing week in Oregon, and then I immediately fly out for a solo trip to Paris the day after we return.
There’s so much to do before we leave for Oregon, and I’m packing for 2 very different trips. The house is in a state of disaster with various piles of camping gear, clothes, and various “don’t forget to pack” items – and I’m going blind looking at all of my to-do lists. I’m not complaining, as I know how fortunate I am to be able to travel, but I could really use a nice cuppa and a few minutes of peace and quiet.
So I thought I’d share a few photos of a time that I was able to enjoy just that – tea (and a fancy dessert) in the beautiful setting of the enclosed garden at the centre of the Petit Palais.
