Another long weekend, and another short camping trip across the border. This time we headed to Larrabee State Park in Washington, just past Bellingham.
Larrabee is Washington’s first state park (dating back to 1915), and boasts views of Samish Bay and the nearby San Juan Islands. It’s beautiful with lots to offer, and is popular with campers and daytrippers.
Back at camp we enjoyed our stay, spending our time eating delicious food and beverages as well as playing badminton and card games.
The rest of our holidays for the year are already booked, so we’re not sure when we’ll be back camping next. I hope it’s not too long though, as it’s a nice way to spend a few days out in nature.
Bonne journée!
Marla

I contemplated taking photos of the feral children running wild through the campground screaming at the top of their lungs, but figured that wouldn’t ”go” with the rest of the post. 😅

Yes, that would have shattered the illusion!
