I’ve been here for less than 24 hours and I already feel like I’m having my ass handed to me. I naively forgot just how full-on Sin City can be. It’s hot (a scorching 36°C today, compared to 13°C back home in Vancouver), crowded, and loud. Don’t get me wrong, it’s also very fun.
But I’m wiped out after a day out and about. I’m writing this from the room, where I’m taking advantage of the relative peace and quiet.
I can still feel the thumping of the pool music pulsating through my head, but it’s so much quieter than anywhere else right now.

a state of extreme physical or mental fatigue. see below image.
Fingers crossed that I can squeeze in a nap to recharge before heading out tonight. I can barely keep my eyes open.
So while I had planned to write posts each day, I might just wait until I get home next week.
Bonne journée!

Try to enjoy the different style of life ,Marla. You will get bored when you are back to Vancouver , staying in office and looking out of the window….

Yet more evidence that I’ve been right all along, with my long-standing feeling that I never ever, ever wanted to visit that city.
