After our visit to the Chihuly Garden & Glass, my boyfriend and I were famished. Enter Google, and a quick search led us to a cute little cafe nearby. Sadly, it was super popular and without a reservation we were looking at over an hour wait.
So we headed down the block and decided to give Bambino’s a try. Because pizza and beer is always a good idea.
The selection of craft beer on offer was slightly overwhelming, mainly because I wasn’t familiar with any of the local breweries.
I ultimately went with an IPA and was pleased with my choice. Hoppy, but not so much that I felt like I was being punched in the face.
Bambino’s is known for its wood fired pizza. It was nice to see the oven in action, in full view of the restaurant.
James ordered a meaty pizza for himself.
Melty cheese strings. Slurp.
Mine came topped with Italian sausage, Gaeta olives and spicy peppers.
It was really good. Clearly I was pleased with my selection. I look like the cat who caught the canary.
Stuffed to the gills, we rolled out the door to enjoy the rest of our weekend in Seattle.
Bonne journée!
